Any Venturer from any Council, Area, or Region can take our courses! We hope you enjoy all the courses, training sessions, and workshops that we put on. Feel free to share this site with anyone who may be interested!

During a Council Venturing college in January that most of our Area VOA Officers helped instruct at, a conversation on how to provide training to all of the Venturers of our Area popped up. Northeast Region Area 5 has members from all over the world spanning from New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Europe, Africa, and even the Middle East. With such a far reach providing a program for everyone is difficult. That why this term we began to plan out ways to include more Venturers by eliminating travel. Along with this event, NERA 5 began publishing Social Media Campaigns to encourage more Venturers to join in the fun. We are glad that you have decided to join our fun as well!

Our officers planned all along for this to be an ongoing resource for Venturers. We plan to work with other Area, Region, and National officers to encourage Venturers to continue their trails to their own personal growth and leadership goals. Along with the kick-off event on April 18th, 2020 which offered Venturing Core-Award training courses we plan to offer workshops on other Venturing specific awards and activities. Some of these workshops will include Planning for my Summit, Working towards Trust, Breaking down Ranger, Finishing my Quest, Preparing Structured Personal Reflections, Developing a Personal Code of Conduct, and more! There is also the possibility to include talks from experienced Scouts and Scouter as they discuss how Scouting and/or Venturing has impacted their life. We are also working on offering the Core-Award training courses in Spanish.

Yes. We plan to send out completion certificates to every participant of any of the courses, training sessions, and workshops that we will present. As a reminder, final approval for any of the award required courses is done by your Crew’s Advisor.

The professional online platform that our Venturing Online College is hosted on will automatically send you emails detailing your next instructions including the link that is necessary to join into your Zoom meeting space.
